My Makeover with Laneige (Romeo)

Hi ladies,

last week I was invited by Laneige Indonesia to meet one of their professional makeup artist from Korea.

-*-

The stage is prepared at Seibu and Mal Taman Anggrek. I went to Seibu since Nadia (Pr of Laneige) has booked one session for my makeover there. I'm eager to see the Korean art of makeup ^__^

-*-

The stage look grandeur isn't it ?! And everyone can see what's going on there, heeeheee. I hope everyone who came that day and look may learn some tips and valuable lessons from the makeup artist.

Soon the makeover start and here is my before look, pale and without color -___-

I don't look well without makeup haha :D Without further ado let's start the makeover, shall we?!

-*-

1. Romeo spray a freshener to my skin
According to him that day my skin already appears clean, so he just start with the freshener and not cleansing.
2. A makeup base to boost the radiance and glow
It help to lifted up the whole look. Used with a brush.
3. BB Cushion is added
This is one of Romeo's favorite item from Laneige, may be used after the base or anytime for a touch up. A quick sun protection, coverage and base for the skin. An all in one solution. Please do see the video below for more.
4. Compact Powder is used
Just around the face and not on the t zone. According to Romeo it's a technique so the face appears glowing.
5. Start shaping the brow start from the right one
Korean loves their eyebrow thick, so the face appears smaller.

This is my before after look half along the way. Clearly seen a shaped eyebrow could make all the differences in one's look.

1. Continues with the left eye brow.
2. Eyeshadow
Romeo said it is not needed to use the whole colors in a palette, a single color is enough to add some dimension to the lid.
3. Eyeliner
Fill in the lines on top of the eyes (inside the upper lids) and below as well. No need to draw extra line, just follow the natural shape of one's eye.
4. Use an eyelash curler and mascara
Start from the middle part all the way to the ends of the lashes without touching the roots so the lashes wont get plucked.
Then carefully apply the mascara one by one (can be seen on the video as well) where he carefully brush each lashes.

The whole process is done slowly by Romeo making sure there's perfection involved.

Above image is my right lashes done and the left one untouched, see the differences with below image where both are done. Like using a fake lashes ^_______^

My eyes look bigger, bolder, and sharper.

Follow with
1. Blush on
2. Use it on the apple of the cheeks only without going overboard from the temple. Smile when using blush on ya.
3. Lipstick is added
No need using lip liner or other stuff, just lipstick with a brush.
4. After look, ta da!

-*-

This is my makeover inspired by Song Hye Kyo. It's focused on the flawless skin and natural look. Do I look like a Korean now?

Enjoy the video below for a more detailed info and step by step guide!

Thank you Laneige Indonesia and Romeo.
